Anita Kemi Dasilva Ibru serves as a gynaecologist at Ideal Eagle Hospital which is based in Lagos. But she is no ordinary doctor as her work with ERAF has provided orphans with food and shelter. Widowed women and older girls who have been struck with HIV or AIDS have also benefitted from her foundation as they are helped gain essential skills that are needed to support their families.
This doctor plays an important role in Nigeria and she has served a number of AIDS stricken families in the times of crisis. She has made a huge difference to Nigeria and her fellow ERAF members have also been positively influenced by this remarkable woman. The Erelu Adebayo Foundation is managed by the Chairman of the same name as well as Anita and it has received many awards for their service to women, children and other vulnerable people.
The organization offers scholarships for young adults and provides a home-like environment for orphans until they are adopted. The work that is done by this foundation is funded by sponsorships and donations. Back in 2000, the NGO received a generous donation of clothes, toys and medical equipment from the HCO (Health Care Organization) and many more donations from other companies followed in due course.
Dr. Anita Dasilva Ibru has worked hard to give Nigerian women the same opportunity as others in more developed countries. As the need for high standard health care is universal, providing maternity care and emergency medical equipment is something that this doctor takes great pride in. The Ideal Eagle Hospital is proud of their amazing doctor for all her contribution in treating sick women.
